The intervention involved the restoration of the building intended for the Episcopal Episcope, part of the Monumental Complex of the Cathedral of Civitavecchia.
The reconstruction of the building, damaged following the bombings of the Second World War, was entrusted to the architect Plinio Marconi in the 1950s.
The building, home to the Episcopio and the rooms intended for the Seminary, is spread over three levels and has a plan structured around two courtyards, the first overlooking the representation rooms of the Episcopio and the second overlooking the rooms of service and the Seminar.
Particular attention was given to the restoration of the reception rooms and reception rooms characterized by the presence of fine paintings and finishes and to the setting up of some exhibition spaces within the Complex.
