The building represents the first prototype of a new “blue dot” concept, by Società Autostrade per l’Italia SpA, intended for a TelePass sales and customer service point, located in the Municipality of Fiumicino along the A12 motorway, completely removable and reusable and having a strong connotative image. The product is characterized by a modular metal structure made of galvanized steel and glass profiles, with external cladding in micro-perforated sheet metal panels, self-sufficient from an energy point of view. It is a light, innovative structure, with walls made up of large glass surfaces, which convey the perception of transparency, allowing full visibility of all areas intended for the public. The building is protected from sunlight through an external casing made up of metal panels in variable micro-perforated sheet metal in blue which, through a careful study of the textures, refers to a natural image of a forest, reinterpreted by the play of shadows that are reflected on the floor .
